Karyn Polak leads the Legal and Compliance teams. She joined Transamerica in 2019 and has more than 25 years of experience providing counsel to financial services companies. Among other industry and civic roles, she is a member of the Association of Life Insurance Counsel, the American Bar Association’s Task Force on Boardroom Diversity, and the National Association of Corporate Directors.

She has a bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law.
