Our leaders
Our board of directors includes the chief executive officers of Transamerica and Aegon (our parent company), along with Aegon’s chief financial officer. Our executive leadership team, the Transamerica Management Board, guides strategy and day-to-day management.
Our history
Our founder AP Giannini, a young immigrant in San Francisco, believed that financial services should be available to everyone, and he opened a bank with that innovative goal in mind in 1906. To this day, our spirit of innovation is an important part of who we are.
