As the president of World Financial Group (WFG) and a member of Transamerica’s executive leadership team, Todd is responsible for one of the largest financial services distribution networks in the United States and Canada. WFG’s team of licensed independent agents helps middle-income families create the life they want to live. By offering access to a diverse portfolio of insurance, retirement, savings, and wealth-building strategies, WFG helps people protect their loved ones and plan their financial legacy. Under Todd’s leadership, WFG has experienced unprecedented growth and is the leading distribution platform for Transamerica’s life insurance business.

Prior to joining Transamerica, Todd Buchanan was the CEO of Coherent Global, a Hong Kong-based insurance technology firm, and a senior vice president in AIG’s Life and Retirement division. For six years, Todd actively served as a U.S. Army officer and achieved the rank of Captain. He is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and was inducted into its Alumni Hall of Fame in 2015. Todd serves as a board member for Finseca, Cogent Bank, Vineyard Capital Partners, LLC, and the Tampa Bay Sports Commission.

Todd and his wife Babsie reside in Tampa, Florida and have three children.
