Early careers

Participants are considered full-time benefit eligible employees who rotate to a new product area every 18-24 months, gaining experience with valuation, pricing and product development, asset and liability management, modeling, and financial reporting. Transamerica covers the cost of all exam fees and study materials and provides paid study time during work hours. Participants receive automatic raises upon passing exams. 

If you’re a recent graduate, opportunities exist in a variety of roles where you’ll perform basic accounting, finance, and analytic principles and techniques by assisting in obtaining, assembling, evaluating, and interpreting financial data. Transamerica provides financial support for those obtaining their certified public accountant (CPA) certification and other professional designations, along with 1:1 mentorship and leadership and development opportunities. 

This entry level position is designed to be a steppingstone to a career as an internal and/or external wholesaler. Participants undergo training while studying for FINRA and associated exams to learn about Transamerica products, processes, and clients. Participants receive sponsorships for FINRA and life & health insurance exams, and Transamerica covers the cost of study materials and exam fees. These roles offer competitive pay, plus career growth and promotion opportunities within 12 months.
